Last month Dylan turned 18 months old. He is very busy and starting to say more words.
18 month check up:
- Weight: 23 lbs 9 oz.
- Length: 32"
So what is Dylan saying these days:
- No, no, no - he just started saying this word and only at meal times. For the past few months I was wondering if he understood what the word meant since I seem to be telling him this a lot and he never responds to it!!! Hmmm curious....
- Train
- Pane (plane) - He points them out every time he sees one.
- Duck - He likes to point these out in the books.
- Peese (please) - I love it when he says this one.
- Akob - We are working on teaching him how to say Jacob and this is what we have gotten so far. He doesn't say it unless we ask him to.
- Car
- Truck
- Jump - Dylan likes to jump.
- Up
- Hi - Dylan has started to say hi and bye-bye to random people and waves at them.
- Me, me, me - He says this when he wants something.
- Mine, mine, mine - also when he wants something.
- Outside
- Hot - He likes to point out the grill, stove and coffee cups and tells us "hot".
What is Dylan doing these days:
- Dylan's is still our pickiest eater. It is very hard finding something he does like.
- After a thunderstorm that shook our house Dylan is now afraid of thunder.
- He really likes to antagonize his big brother.
- He loves to brush his teeth with every one's toothbrush.
- He has figured out how to climb up on top of our bathroom counter to turn the water on. Unfortunately it is usually the hot water.
- He can climb up my dishwasher to reach the kitchen counter.
- He can climb up his kitchen set in his bedroom.
- Basically Dylan LOVES LOVES LOVES to climb up E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G.
