This month we celebrated Jacob's Golden Birthday on November 4th. Jacob's stats:
- Weight: 34 1/2 lbs
- Height: 40 1/2 inches
What is Jacob up to these days:
- #1 passion is still his trains
- #2 passion this is a new one - construction trucks
- Jacob has been going to preschool two 1/2 days a week
- Jacob is our shy and sensitive kid. He gets a little overwhelmed by busy and crowded situations. We switched his times at preschool to 7:30am to 1:30pm. When he arrives in the morning he goes to a different room with all the kids and then the teachers take there class to their classroom. This has been a very hard transition for Jacob. He gets really nervous on the way to preschool and cries when he gets into the room. We are trying to align his arrival with his teacher's so he can go with her rather in the big room. Hopefully this is something he will grow out of but until then we will be very patient and understanding.
- Jacob loves to do arts and crafts. We bought him his first set of scissors and loves to cut shapes with the paper.
- His best friend is still Froggy.
- His favorite color is still Green but he is starting to like other colors and use different colored pieces when we play games.
- He is a very curious boy and wants to know about everything. He wants to know what the signs on the roads mean. What the speed limit is and if I am going the speed. Recently he discovered that each road/street has it's own name. He thinks many of the names are pretty funny.
- Some of his favorite books are the "Froggy" Series, "Thomas the Train" and Construction trucks.
- He loves to go to the library to pick out new books.
- His favorite songs are "Another One Bites the Dust" and "We Will We Will Rock You". He loves to dance.
- A couple of months ago Jacob woke up one morning and the first thing he said was that he was no longer going to have any accidents. Well he has stuck to his word. He has has only about 3-4 accidents in about 2-3 months. We will have accidents during the night but one battle at a time. Way to go Jacob!
On his birthday I surprised Jacob with a trip to Choo Choo Bob's train store. I have mentioned this store in previous posts but as a refresher this store is for all train hobbyists. They also have many children's train tables set-up for the kids to play.
As you can see he is wearing one of his Thomas the train shirts.
For his birthday dessert in the evening we had ice cream cones.

Happy Birthday my sweet Jacob! Mommy and Daddy love you very much and always will. We were blessed the minute you came into this world and it has been four wonderful years. We truly enjoy watching you grow and change everyday. Mmmwhaa!
