Jake and I were able to spend the afternoon with Dylan. We are able to hold Dylan when ever we want to now. He is eating very good and we have had him on a schedule of feeding every 2 1/2 - 3 hours since 6:00 pm yesterday. He still has a little fluid in his longs and he was prescribed a diuretic today to help clear up his lungs. He was off of oxygen last night but then was put back on at 22%. The doctor is pretty confident the diuretic will get him off the oxygen. As soon as he has been off of oxygen for 24 hours without any drops we are free to take him home. YAY - we can't wait!! The nursing staff have been absolutely amazing and supportive, which has made this whole experience a little easier.
